Hi and welcome Warocher. In most of all cases the STEAM Versions are a little bit different to the normal retail versions of a game. I bought the original collectors edition of this. The trainer is certified to work with the NON-STEAM Version of the game.
You could only can try some fixes but against our forum rules i cannot write it down here where you can find it.
