How does DIDE Developer menu tool work?

I used WinRAR to unpack the pak files...
Now you can edit the files you want and pack it again with WinRAR. But you must pack it as a ZIP archive.
And you have to pack the whole folder again.
For me its working with the original game files and the edited one from DeadlyCobra...
